Monthly Genre:  Award Winners!  Students should be ½ the way through their novel.  The project is a scrapbook page
completed primarily in class and beginning next week.

Writing Personal Narratives: This weeks lesson  ‘strong endings’.  Revising and editing next.

Math:  Unit 6 = Fractions, Decimals & Percents.  This week we focused on adding and subtracting fractions and
what to do when their denominators are different!?

Social Studies:  Native American Project - Speeches should be complete.  Students were taught how to insert photos and animate their slideshow.  Super cool - have them show you!

If either speech or slideshow  are not complete they are now HOMEWORK.

Science:  Variables Unit.  We made ‘swingers’ and began using the scientific method.
